Rogers finds closer role to his liking

KARE 11 Sports Director Eric Perkins took a spin around the CenturyLink Sports Complex with Twins pitcher Taylor Rogers to get his take on the upcoming season.

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Last year Taylor Rogers shined in his new role as Minnesota Twins closer. The lanky left-hander posted some lights out statistics and piled up 30 saves during the Twins’ Central Division Championship run.

Now this real life twin (whose brother pitches with the San Francisco Giants) is looking for even bigger and better things in 2020.

On this latest edition of Golf Cart Chronicles, Rogers plays passenger and discusses his expectations for the 2020 season.
