MINNEAPOLIS — A 23-year-old man was shot and killed Thursday near the River Bend Education Center in north Minneapolis.
According to the Minneapolis Police Department, officers were called to the intersection of Glenwood Avenue and Cedar Lake Road North just before 4:30 p.m. where they found a man shot inside a vehicle. Officials say the man was transported to HCMC where he later died.
Police say no arrests have been made and officials are working to determine what led up to the shooting.
On Sunday, April 14, the Hennepin County Medical Examiner identified the victim as 23-year-old Mihretu Adane Ravaz of St. Louis Park. His death was ruled a homicide.
